5.9 Static Variables
5.9.1 Static Variable Definition
Static Variable is a Maestro Kernel Object for data encapsulation.
Properties:
1. The Workspace is the Static Variable owner
2. The Scope of a Static Variable is all programs in the current
Workspace
3. A Static Variable can be a simple variable or an n-dimension array
4. A Static Variable can be an INT and FLOAT type and can be up to 64
kBt (16000 INT or FLOAT members)
5.9.2 Elmo Studio User Interface for Static Variables
To add a Static Variable, the Elmo Studio offers the following user interface:
1. Open Workspace
2. In the Workspace window, select the File View page
3. Use the context menu to Add Static Variable as shown in Figure 5-3
